Some Special(yet some common) Things to START BELIEVING in yourself AGAIN - PART 5

...to be continued. 13) Accept your emotions without judging them You all know what, you will agree to this. Emotions are very big players, both against and with us. Whenever we experience an uncomfortable feeling, such as sadness, fear or anger, our first instinct is to ignore it, reject it or push it away. And this fair enough, we don’t really want to walk around feeling emotional pain all the time. Emotions give us useful information about our lives. It’s understanding that you don’t need to “control” your emotions. They cannot do any damage to you.  This means allowing your emotions to just be without negatively judging them or trying to change them. 14) Get rid of these 5 toxic beliefs Your beliefs and thoughts shape the perspective of your life. The way you think, interpret and react to a situation depends on your beliefs that matter for you.  But if your beliefs aren’t accurate, they could be negatively affecting you. Here are some beliefs that may sabotage our life: i. The pres

...to be continued. 10) As you make progress, people will try to pull you down. Just same as the concept of crabs in a basket. You all know what happens when you start to improve. Your close ones, the FRIENDS and FAMILY and COLLEAGUES make efforts to pull you down. Why? Simple. They are now jealous. Because it's the natural order of things. They've put you in a box and it messes with their mind when you start to change. So, you're going to have summon up some courage and ignore criticism from others. Your happiness should matter. 11) Get out there and EXERCISE It could be one of the most powerful things you can do. Right ? Not only will you start getting healthier, but you'll ultimately feel better about yourself as well. Now, let's talk some science. According to the American Psychological Association(APA), there is usually an instant mood-enhancing effect about five minutes after you start a workout. And when done consistently, exercise could help reduce long-te

... to be continued. 7) What do you REALLY want to do with your life ? I know that there comes some moment in our life when we start to think that aghhhh... my life is a total waste, I should have died either. But no, you survive and face that circumstance, that critic moment... Let me ask you a question. Do you have a purpose ? No, not an ambition, or goal or a higher post you want to reach, but a purpose. Let's define it. Understanding what you want and where you want to go is crucial to being happy and finding meaning in life. That's what we call purpose. However you probably already knew that. So, if you are not clear of what to do with your life, how the hell can you figure it out. There's this way, a common yet magical way. Ask yourself these questions. 1. What were you passionate about as a child ? 2. What makes you forget about the world around you ? 3. If you had a dream, could you make it happen ? 4. What's on your bucket list ? 5. Who do you spend time with

....  to be continued. Thank you for your love for the part 1 of the blog, here's the second part of the series. 4) FIND and OPEN your HEART While step 3 is about acknowledging and accepting the pain, step 4 is about reconciling with a cold and unopened heart. Ask yourself this one question: do you fully love yourself ? NO !!  No need to be shocked. It's very common for all of us in this hectic world. So, accepting your flaws and your fault is one thing, but loving a person who can have your thoughts, your emotions and most importantly your mistakes? That's a completely higher level of self-love. That's something most of us miss today. What to do now ? Question yourself. Discover your life story. Trace your path way back from your childhood to the person you are now.  Understand yourself in the most intimate way ever possible, and find a reason for that damn every negative emotion, every shameful act, every word or mistake you regret even today. In this journey of und

Some Special(yet some common) Things to START BELIEVING in yourself AGAIN - PART 1

With some bad and sad things being happening to me in the last few months, I am coming to know that the period left me with a chance to introspect myself and to get up finally and say, hey this is going to stop now, an inner voice called up. In this piece of post, I am going to write up some special yet common things, to help you all those who were feeling the same, to start from zero once again and believing in thyself again. Let's go... 1) What you NEED to understand first As the saying goes: You are your own worst critic. You need to understand that y our entire life is lived through your eyes. Your interactions with the world and those around you, your thoughts and how you interpret events, relationships, actions, and words. You might just be another person when it comes to the grand scheme of things, but when it comes to your understanding of reality, you are the only thing that matters. And because of that, your reality depends on how much you love and take care of you. Your

ALL is made of LOVE

The majestic four letter word, the world hauls for ! ! ! L.O.V.E. Do read this blog only if and only if you have time and you want to clear up your mind about what is love and want to form the universal concept of it i.e. what universe say love is. If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is: Infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro’ narrow chinks of his cavern. The above lines are an excerpt from William Blake's poem The Marriage of Heaven and Hell. In 1954, Aldous Huxley wrote The Doors of Perception. In it he describes how he experienced a great change in his perception of the external world. Reflecting on the experience afterwards, Huxley concludes that to enable us to live, the brain and nervous system eliminate unessential information from the totality of the ‘Mind at Large’.  There is such an incredible intelligence and order in the world which informs all creation and evolution. It is, of course, also the so

12 quotes from Zen Masters to STOP overthinking EVERYTHING

OVERTHINKING Best known as creating the problems that are never there. - David Sikhosana Put simply, Zen is about living a life of simplicity, tranquility and mindfulness in the present moment. It’s not any more complicated than this. Zen emphasizes experiencing the truth rather than being able to explain it. So, here are some quotes from the Zen spiritual masters. They don’t tell you how to experience clarity of mind, but rather point the way. 1. “When composing a verse let there not be a hair’s breath separating your mind from what you write; composition of a poem must be done in an instant, like a woodcutter felling a huge tree or a swordsman leaping at a dangerous enemy.”                                  ― Bashō Matsuo 2. “When it is understood that one loses joy and happiness in the attempt to possess them, the essence of natural farming will be realized. The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings.”

Questions that question YOU from YOU - PART 1

Sometimes we get too caught up in our every day lives that we tend to forget one of our most basic instincts as humans — to question. And our lives have indeed become so easy and so simple, that we never get curious anymore. Thanks to the tech, obviously. After all, we are i the 21st century. So, in this piece for you, I've got some questions to make you spark the plugs into your grey matter.(not the GRAY matter,  its the grey matter) Now what's the grey matter first ? Grey  matter  contains most of the brain's neuronal cell bodies. The grey  matter  includes regions of the brain involved in muscle control, and sensory perception such as seeing and hearing, memory, emotions, speech, decision making, and self-control. Enough for the intro, I guess. So, here are the questions. Q. Why do we all FEAR death ? Q. What is REALITY ? Q. Is our SOCIETY teaching us the WRONG things ? Q. Is TIME only a concept made by humans ? Is it something we RESTRICT ourselves with ? Q. Will the wo

Northern Lights are INCREDIBLE but have you ever heard of the SOUTHERN LIGHTS ?

Southern lights are a thing !!! - The AURORA AUSTRALIS What are the Southern Lights ? Much have been said and done about the northern lights, so much so, that at times travellers have outnumbered the local population of Iceland. But we all seemed to have fo rgotten about its counterpart, Aurora Australis or the Southern Lights, with are just as soul-stirring, if not more. So as winter comes to t he southern hemisphere, these dancing curtains of lights come out to play. Just like their colorful comrades in the north, the Aurora Australis too is an aftermath of the collision of gaseous particles in the earth's atmosphere with electrically charge d particles from the sun. The energy released from this collision takes place the form of the dramatic auroras. Red and Pink color Aurora Australis Green Colored Aurora Australis Why are they so exciting ? While the aurora borealis only offers a green light during the northern light phenomenon, the southern lights entice you with a motley of

The Art of Getting What You Want

How to use confidence and technique to get what you want from life, your relationships and your career ? This is something you all must have heard of already, but let's take it into some new perspective of the human mind. You all know what human minds are capable of. It can do  whatever we think of, but for most of the time, it doesn't. Talking about the term, "Law of Attraction" is something that says what you think of, you attract. And what you attract, you become.  Although it's considered to be a pseudoscience, it teaches us an important lesson. "Like attracts like." And I have mentioned it already... Talking about the one word meaning for the heading, the term which suits it best is persuasion. I agree, most of you know what it means but, we ain't here for that much only... You read it and I write it because we all want something different from the ordinary perspective of the human mind. But persuasion alone do not satisfy the hunger of knowing

Colour: A key to survival

White or Black Now, a gentle reminder of "this is not on the violence America is facing at the moment." We all know that a black guy named George Floyd was killed when in police custody and blah, blah, blah. It's not about that okay. Today, we are going to talk about our perception of this thing which creates the difference between the white and the black. Well actually, these are only colors to us, but somehow, somewhere in the world, its just more than that - The Key to Survival or The Code of Life. And  the same type of consideration is here in our country too... yes, you may guess it right... the untouchables, or the dalits, or the harijans as they are mainly called in our country, the lower caste people. Why does all this happens ? This question arises in many of the minds.  For me, there's nothing like this now, I have evolved myself above this, but still something stops me approaching the help to any lower caste person, probably because my parents told me to d
