Are YOU A... ?

Believer of Thoughts  OR   A Thinker of Believes  Okay, so now, let me be clear by what I mean to ask ? Everyone has one's own perspective and generally categorize people purely based on that perspective.  One's own goods and bads are decided by that perspective only. And so, how does that perspective comes out of the subconscious ?  This is where the concept of the question I asked herein comes handy. I, although can differentiate people, on the basis of the condition I am in, or the way I want them to work/function in favour of me. Well, everybody does that right... But still, we have something called the subconscious mind and that it functions in the daylight as well as the in the darkest hours of the dawn, it shapes us and the way we function. And so, coming back to the question. The answer you will give to yourself, will be at the end of this blog and most probably in the comment section. So, held up your head high in search of the answer of the question, because that'

Be CONSCIOUS of What You are THINKING

While medicinal practitioners have essentially dismissed the role of mind in influencing health, science has fully established that a minimum of one-third or up to two-thirds of all medical interventions are due to the placebo effect, an expression of the real power of mind over matter. By definition, the placebo effect reveals the influence that positive thinking about the effectiveness of a pill or a therapy(even if it is a fake pill) can produce a healing experience. Placebo represents the scientific consequences of how positive consciousness(mind) can manifest healing. Now, this is something about the effectiveness of positive thinking in shaping health, what's in the corner for something negative ? Hear up about the nocebo effect now. It's something that's very similar to the placebo effect but in the exact opposite manner. YES !!! Negative thinking, characteristics of Nocebo effect, can cause ANY disease and even death... from nothing more than a thought. Okay so, i

Everything Happens for a REASON: 7 reasons to believe this is TRUE

"Everything happens for a reason." The philosopher Aristotle explains it perfectly. In his quest to discover the true meaning of life, he suggested there were two constants in life: First, the universe is constantly changing and evolving. What it is today is never the same tomorrow. Second he referred to entelechy  , which is "that which turns potential into reality." Aristotle believed that everything happening to you today has a purpose because it turns you into the person you are becoming. Everything that happens to you has a reason - but there's always a way of thinking about this that empowers you in life. Let's see what is in the box... "I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they are right, you believe lies so eventually you learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."

Once you learn these 7 Lessons from Zen Buddhism, you'll be MUCH Wiser

Contrary to what people believe, Buddhism is not a religion. It's a Lifestyle and a practical experience. It dates back more than 2500 years. As can be read from the link above, a man named Siddharth Gautama ( later known as Buddha )  achieved "enlightenment"(a state of mind where you can reach harmony of body and mind) by the way of Zen Meditation , a way of self discovery and vigilance practised by sitting on a meditation cushion and experiencing living in the moment, here and now, Zen buddhism challenges all aspects of your everyday life. You can implement a few easy Zen Buddhism practises in your life even if it seem a bit more over

Why you should own more books than you read ?

Tsundoku.  A Japanese world that literally means "reading pile".  However, it translates to more than that. It's a habit. It's actually a tendency to buy books that you never end up reading. And you might think that's not a good thing, but you'd be surprised. There is a beauty in pile of books, stacked around your home, surrounding you like a warm blanket - even when you don't read them.  A simple pile of books How so ? It reminds you that you still have much to read and learn. That in life, there is always next thing to discover. Something more to unravel, and that there are always pages you can turn.  We are guilty of this. We browse through a book store, and buy a book that jumps at us, with every intention of reading it later. But life is just too busy. Life is too fast-paced. And sometimes, we barely have the intention or the energy to read. What we end up having is a stack of books, unread, scattered around some corners, a reminder o
