20 Life Changing Quotes About Love, Life & Peace by John Lennon, The Man, The Legend

The man needs no introduction. But even. John Lennon was a musical legend that didn't just change music forever, he changed the world. He was an English singer, songwriter, and peace activist who gained worldwide fame as the founder, co-lead vocalist, and rhythm guitarist of the Beatles. His songwriting partnership with Paul McCartney remains the most successful in history. The cultural icon that he was, his words influenced generations across the world, and they continued to do so. And why wouldn't they ? He was such a great man. His thoughts on love, life and peace, his wisdom , are the very definition of timeless. He lived a short life-span of 40 years and was brutally assassinated. His time on Earth was painfully-short, and we'd like to celebrate it. To honour every emotion he ever made us feel, behold, the beautiful words of John Lennon. Let's go:

1. Creativity is a gift. It doesn't come through if the air is cluttered.

God made everyone unique in his/her own way. Everyone is blessed with some sort of creativity. It is a gift and can't be developed overnight. It's something you are born with.

2. I don't know which will go first - rock'n'roll or Christianity.

I really don't know how to interpret the statement, but what I think is that Lennon feared that if Music will stand along with the growing religiousness or not. But yes, it stood for a long time. Even today, music is above religion for many people in the world.

3. Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted.

Yes... it is the time only when you explore the fullest of yourself. It's not about the time that you wasted, it's about the time you enjoyed being immersed in yourself, the memories that you made wasting that time. Sounds a bit strange and awkward, well, read the statement again. It simply indicates that the time that you enjoyed being tension less, enjoyed every moment, even if you think is wasted is never actually wasted.

4. We live in a world where we have to hide to make love, while violence is practised in the broad daylight.

As the statement reveals the truth in today's world, we don't think that we won't agree on the statement. Even if the statement was given a long time ago, it still holds true. Violence is being practised in the daylight and still we have to hide to make love, because if we're caught once, it won't happen again.

5. If there's such a thing as genius, I am one. And if there's isn't, I don't care.

Simple and bold enough, the statement teaches us that, if you believe you are then you are, if you don't, you aren't and you shouldn't care what people think about you.

6. You don't need anyone to tell you who you are, what you are. You are what you are.

Being real is the only thing you have in this world. Well, as the statement says, you don't need anyone in this world to prove your worth to anyone. You are worthy enough for yourself. Your identity is only your's and there is no need to ask anyone anything about it because there is no one better than you who know about you.

7. Before Elvis, there was nothing.

Well, this statement was given by Lennon on his Beatles' companion Elvis Presley. He even said that, " If there hadn't been Elvis, there wouldn't have been Beatles." He was so impacted by Elvis Presley, who was the guitarist in the band.

8. Everything is clearer,when you're in love.

True enough... when you are in love, everything seems so beautiful. It seems like everything you come in front of is true and should be true because you don't want to be interrupted by that.

9. A dream you dream is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.

It's all about teamwork dude. Sometimes, teamwork is the only thing to make it to the end where you can't reach alone.

10. If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace.

Sarcastically enough, the statement is everything you need to understand for in the case of world peace. Be in peace, love peace. (;

11. You either get tired fighting for peace, or you die.

But we know that the world is not a better place to live in now, because of various life-threatening issues going into it. As for now, you may actually die fighting for peace.

12. As usual, there is a great woman behind every idiot.

Again for a sarcastic one, it has always been said that there is always a woman behind every successful man, John Lennon had his own way of saying this statement.

13. Music is everybody's possession. It's only publisher who think that people own it.

Another thought on Music, well not on here, everybody, every couple in the world sometimes think that they owe the particular music. True enough, the "Perfect" song by Ed Sheeran. Well, it comes true sometimes, because sometimes it's only the composer or the musician who think that the music belongs to the world. But it's not true, Music is everyone's.

14. You have to be bastard to make it and that's a fact.

Just as we all knew it, nothing in this world comes easy. So you  have to mean, you have to be a somewhat bastard to make it because
the world will never let you make it.

15. Your way of life is a political statement.

Well, can't think of any description about the statement, but still, everyone has a way of life like everyone say that I live this way or I live that way. It sometimes results into the conflict, just as in politics.

16. What we've got to do is keep hope alive. Because without it, we'll sink.

YES YES YES... just like every ship doesn't sink in the water because of the water around it, it sinks because of the water that gets into it. We do have to keep the hope alive around us always so that atleast there is something in the world that we crave for.

17. Reality leaves a lot to the imagination.

Yes, reality leaves a lot to imagination. It's our imagination that shapes the world, but in reality there are a lot more of things that are different from our imagination and can't happen in our real world.

18. I believe in everything until it's disproved.

True said... not only did Lennon meant it, we should also consider the statement. Always believe in the beauty of the nature until it's disproved that it isn't there, just to feel it once.

19. A mistake is only an error, it becomes a mistake when you fail to correct it.

Once we try to correct a mistake, we put an effort in it and when we want to correct any, it's no longer a mistake. As the statement goes, it is only an error if we try to correct it because it happened because of any fault.

20. It's weird not to be weird.

Just because you are a bit different, doesn't mean that you are not meant for the world. As the thought given by John Lennon, he meant the same think that being yourself is the biggest thing, so be yourself and be weird in your own way. :)

Some Special(yet some common) Things to START BELIEVING in yourself AGAIN - PART 5

...to be continued. 13) Accept your emotions without judging them You all know what, you will agree to this. Emotions are very big players, both against and with us. Whenever we experience an uncomfortable feeling, such as sadness, fear or anger, our first instinct is to ignore it, reject it or push it away. And this fair enough, we don’t really want to walk around feeling emotional pain all the time. Emotions give us useful information about our lives. It’s understanding that you don’t need to “control” your emotions. They cannot do any damage to you.  This means allowing your emotions to just be without negatively judging them or trying to change them. 14) Get rid of these 5 toxic beliefs Your beliefs and thoughts shape the perspective of your life. The way you think, interpret and react to a situation depends on your beliefs that matter for you.  But if your beliefs aren’t accurate, they could be negatively affecting you. BLOG #1 - THE BIG BANG - COSMIC BEGINNINGS

Accepted astrophysical theories posit that at one point there was nothing: no stars, planets or galaxies - not even the space itself. The matter that makes up everything that now exists was concentrated in a single, extremely dense point known as a singularity. The force of gravity in a singularity is so great that the fabric of space time curves in on itself. In an instant known as the big bang, however, the contents of the primordial singularity escaped - and formed the universe.                The big bang is a catchy shorthand for a complex astrophysical theory, backed up with sophisticated calculations. The term was coined in the 1950s by British astronomer Fred Boyle, a proponent of a theory of the universe as a steady state. In fact, Boyle used the term derisively. Though the name stuck, it gives a false impression, making it seem as though the event that unleashed all the energy of the universe almost 14 billion years ago was an explosion. Point of Singularity to the crea
