10 Tough Truths You Must Accept To Move Forward In Life

Browsing your social media fed and someone looking so happy with someone/something popped up ! Feeling so sad for yourself ??? It can put you down, especially when you have to work hard to reach your goals. Well, you are not the only one who feels this way. Everyone does !
Time to speak about some brutally honest truths about life that we need to face in order to move forward.

1. It doesn't matter what others think.

As the saying goes: "Other's opinion of you doesn't define you." Don't worry too much about what others think of you, as it will only hamper your progress in life. Embrace who you are and be your only role model. Set your own vision and don't let anyone prevent you from reaching them.

2. Perfection doesn't exist, so stop pursuing it.

We all have a different definition of perfection. The fact is, there is nothing like perfection. Strive for your own interpretation of it and go after what's right for you.

3. Don't look for happiness.

It lies within. We are so caught up in the search for The Big Happiness in life that we miss out on the smaller ones that bring us joy: a smile, a kind gesture, a laugh. Enjoy these smaller ones everyday and eventually find the happiness you were looking for.

4. Worrying is useless.

"Worrying doesn't accomplish anything.Even if you worry twenty times more, it will not change the situation of the world. In fact, your anxiety will only make things worse. Even though things are not as we would like, we can still be consent, knowing that we are trying our best and we will continue to do so."
                              - Thich Nhat Hanh

5. Failing is necessary to grow.

If you fear failure, you will never each your goals. Failure teaches you valuable lessons - consider it as a stepping stone to success.
"Rock bottoms will teach you the lessons that mountain tops never will."

6. Money won't bring you happiness.

Seriously, that new pair of sneakers or that new quad-cam phone will only bring you short term joy. It's the thing that you can't buy that brings you true happiness. So set your focus straight. Invest in your relationships rather  than in the materialistic things.

7. Time is Money.

Realize that time is more valuable than money. You only have one life, so you better make the most out of it and spend it the way it makes you happy. Don't ever let money stand in your way of living your dream life.

8. You are your best investment.

Remember it, again, you only have one shot in life - so be the best version of yourself. Invest in yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually. Don't know where to start ? Well, start by the things right in front of you, the tasks you can accomplish. It will prove to be a great head start.

9. You can't make everyone your friend.

Accept it: you will meet far too many people in your life to make them all like you. We all have different characters, so it is impossible for all of them to match. You're better off with a small circle of true friends than a large amount of Facebook friends you barely know. Quality over quantity !

10. Live now.

Today is the only time that matters. Start living in the present and you don't miss out on anything by worrying about yesterday or tommorow.

It’s understanding that you don’t need to “control” your emotions. They cannot do any damage to you.  This means allowing your emotions to just be without negatively judging them or trying to change them. 14) Get rid of these 5 toxic beliefs Your beliefs and thoughts shape the perspective of your life. The way you think, interpret and react to a situation depends on your beliefs that matter for you.  But if your beliefs aren’t accurate, they could be negatively affecting you. BLOG #1 - THE BIG BANG - COSMIC BEGINNINGS

Accepted astrophysical theories posit that at one point there was nothing: no stars, planets or galaxies - not even the space itself. The matter that makes up everything that now exists was concentrated in a single, extremely dense point known as a singularity. The force of gravity in a singularity is so great that the fabric of space time curves in on itself. In an instant known as the big bang, however, the contents of the primordial singularity escaped - and formed the universe.                The big bang is a catchy shorthand for a complex astrophysical theory, backed up with sophisticated calculations. The term was coined in the 1950s by British astronomer Fred Boyle, a proponent of a theory of the universe as a steady state. In fact, Boyle used the term derisively. Though the name stuck, it gives a false impression, making it seem as though the event that unleashed all the energy of the universe almost 14 billion years ago was an explosion.
